Unite under one body, Indian groups urged

SELANGOR / Wilayah Persekutuan Indian Newsvendors & Booksellers Association president Datuk K. Muniandy has called upon Indian political parties and non-governmental organisations to set aside their differences and discuss the possibility of uniting under one body, Malaysia Nanban

reported.

He said the main problem was the lack of trust and the cooperation among the people. He said that at present the community was divided by affiliation to various political parties.

He said it was important for all Indians to be united under one umbrella in the interests of future generations and for the Government to consider their requests more favourably.
